SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. — Sprouts Farmers Market announced Tuesday that the company plans to hire 150 people to open its first South Carolina store in Simpsonville.

Sprouts has “neighborhood stores” in 19 states from California to Maryland, the website said.

The company will hold a hiring fair next week in partnership with Snagajob, the hourly hiring experts.

Applicants are encouraged to bring a copy of their resume and will have the opportunity to speak directly with Sprouts’ hiring team.

Positions available include cashiers and clerks in all departments, including bakery, bulk, deli, grocery, meat, produce and vitamins.

The hiring fair will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Greenville, 108 Carolina Point Parkway, in Greenville, at the following times:

• Wednesday, May 2 from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
• Thursday, May 3 from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
